Your camera video stays on your computer.

1Your camera

Posture Guard uses your webcam (or your phone used as a webcam) to see how you sit. Each camera frame is analyzed on your computer the moment it arrives, then thrown away.

• Camera video is never recorded, saved or uploaded.
• No one, including us, can see your camera.
• Posture tracking works fully offline.

2What stays on your computer

Your settings, your daily posture score and streaks, and any good or bad poses you choose to save (pose measurements and, if you save one, a reference photo) are stored only on your computer. They are removed when you delete them in the app or uninstall Posture Guard.

3When the app uses the internet

Only for these four things, and none of them involves your camera:

• Google sign-in, to create and open your account.
• Plan checks, to confirm your trial or Premium plan.
• App updates, to check for and download new versions.
• Ideas you choose to send us from the app.

4Your account

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and Google account ID. We use them to create your account, link it to your plan, and apply the limit of 3 computers per account, for which we keep an identifier for each computer you use. We never see your Google password.

5Payments

Payments are handled by our payment providers: Lemon Squeezy worldwide, and InstaPay or mobile wallet transfers in Egypt. We see what you bought, when, and the email used. We never see or store your full card number.

6Ideas and messages

When you send an idea or a message, we receive what you write. Your name and email are included only if you add them. We use them only to read your message, reply if you asked us to, and improve Posture Guard.

7This website

postureguardapp.com has no ads and no tracking or advertising cookies. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver and protect the site and to tell the page which country you are in, so we can show the right prices. Messages sent through our forms are delivered to our email by Web3Forms.

8What we never do

• We never sell your information.
• We never use it for advertising.
• We never share it except with the services below, and only for the reasons given.

9Services that help us

Google (sign-in), Cloudflare (website), Lemon Squeezy and Egyptian payment services (payments), our database provider (accounts and plans), and Web3Forms (website forms). Each handles your information only to provide their service to us.

10Why we use your information

We use your account and plan details to provide the app you asked for, the ideas and messages you send because you chose to send them, and basic technical data to keep the app and website secure. Our service providers may store information outside your country; they protect it with the safeguards their own policies describe.

11How long we keep things

We keep your account details while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it within 30 days, except for payment records we must keep by law. Messages are kept only as long as we need them to reply and improve the app.

12Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (No. 151 of 2020) and the EU and UK GDPR give you the right to see, correct or delete your information, to object to how we use it, and to complain to your local data protection authority. You can ask to see, correct or delete your account information at any time by emailing hello@postureguardapp.com. Uninstalling Posture Guard removes everything stored on your computer.

13Children

Posture Guard accounts are not meant for children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

14Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Important changes will also be announced in the app or on this site.
